The Playmakers Program Sponsors

We are incredibly grateful for our sponsors.

Their generosity in support of our program allows us to affect and change young lives for the better. The continuous operation of our programs means we can focus on helping kids with trained coaches, during the school year AND during the summer months.

We could not do any of this without the support of our corporate sponsors and individual donors. With a monthly sponsorship, you can adopt a Playmakers Lil’ Pup and follow their progress.

Harrison’s Playmakers – A 3-City Tour

This year, teaming up with Harrison Phillips are our generous sponsors, we are holding three Free Football Camps for Special Needs and At-Risk Youth.

First stop — Buffalo, New York

Home of the Buffalo Bills, Harrison’s team was tremendous at helping us get the word out to organizations serving the youth that were invited to our one-day camp. In addition to traditional football skills training and team challenges, the kids heard inspiring stories from their football heros, watched police dog demonstrations, and had tons of fun.

Next Stop — Omaha, Nebraska!

Thank you to our generous sponsors who have made it possible for this camp to be FREE for all participants.

Eric Schnetz and his staff at Chicago Fire have stepped up since 2017. We are very grateful and made a video to say Thank You.

The results of our program — increased motivation, accelerated reading levels, or more of an interest in social participation — are empowering our students to make a difference in their own lives, and to learn the importance of serving others and Winning with Honor.

Each after-school program location has space for 25 students, and there are three components to our program: Academics, Fitness and Character Development. After just one semester, principals and teachers noticed a difference in the classroom with their most challenging students. We are also hearing about Acts of Kindness – our kids standing beside the one being bullied, or making sure everyone is included in games on the playground.

The Optimist and Rotary Civic Groups in our region have stepped up monetarily, and by volunteering to sponsor lunch on field trip days, driving vans to transport the students, and visiting our program to read with the kids.
