Boys and girls from challenged backgrounds with academic and social challenges learn about character — doing the right thing when no one is looking. Playmakers’ goal is to foster self-esteem and introduce them to volunteerism in the community. Coaching Character, Winning with Honor, and Pay It Forward are important to give youth the power to change their world, and overcome obstacles in the future.
