To Whom it May Concern at The Playmakers Organization:
Upon reflection of the Playmakers program that was held at Blanche Sprentz School this past year, I can honestly say, in a short period of time, it has made a very positive impact on our school.
First, the parents like having a quality after school program available at the school site, instead of walking a mile, which had been the only option until the Playmakers program arrived. The parents love the flexibility of being able to pick their children up earlier in the afternoon, as opposed to having a set time of requirements that other after school programs request.
Most importantly, the structure of the Playmakers program, with its repetition of the Playmakers values and Rotary’s Four Way Truths, gave the students strategies that they could use to solve conflicts throughout their school day. School and classroom suspensions were down, especially with one of your most challenging students, and I could see a growth in the overall maturity with most of the students in your program at the end of the school year. It was very impressive.
This year has been very successful. Furthermore, we have laid the ground work for a good working relationship, and even better success next year, and the years to come.
