We are incredibly grateful for our sponsors.
Their generosity in support of our program allows us to affect and change young lives for the better. The continuous operation of our programs means we can focus on helping kids with trained coaches, during the school year AND during the summer months.
We could not do any of this without the support of our corporate sponsors and individual donors. With a monthly sponsorship, you can adopt a Playmakers Lil’ Pup and follow their progress.
Eric Schnetz and his staff at Chicago Fire have stepped up in 2017. We are very grateful and made a video to say Thank You.
The results of our program — increased motivation, accelerated reading levels, or more of an interest in social participation — are empowering our students to make a difference in their own lives, and to learn the importance of serving others and Winning with Honor.
Each after-school program location has space for 25 students, and there are three components to our program: Academics, Fitness and Character Development. After just one semester, principals and teachers noticed a difference in the classroom with their most challenging students. We are also hearing about Acts of Kindness – our kids standing beside the one being bullied, or making sure everyone is included in games on the playground.
The Principal at Cordova Meadows wrote us a message you can read here. This school is home to our original program born over seven years ago. You can read about The Playmakers history here.
